La deuda mundial es ahora de 307 billones de dólares. Es la cifra más alta de la historia.
Los bancos no prestan tanto dinero como antes. Los tipos de interés son más altos. Pero la deuda sigue creciendo. Un informe reciente dice que en la primera parte de 2023, la deuda aumentará en 10 billones de dólares. En diez años, aumentará en 100 billones de dólares. El informe dice que los precios suben muy deprisa. Esto hace que la deuda baje en los dos últimos años. Pero la situación cambiará en los próximos meses.
La mayor parte de esta nueva deuda procede de países ricos como EEUU, Japón, Gran Bretaña y Francia. En otros países como China, India y Brasil, la deuda también aumenta. Los expertos afirman que cuando los tipos de interés sean más altos, será más difícil para los gobiernos y los ciudadanos devolver el dinero.
