El calentamiento global superó por primera vez los 1,5 °C. Superó el objetivo que los líderes mundiales fijaron en 2015.
Los expertos se preocupan por los impactos que el aumento de la temperatura tiene sobre la naturaleza y los sistemas alimentarios. Los líderes mundiales firmaron acuerdos internacionales como el Acuerdo de París, pero los fenómenos meteorológicos extremos ocurridos en todo el mundo nos demuestran que tenemos que hacer más y hacerlo rápido.
Están ocurriendo cosas buenas, por ejemplo, EEUU invirtió un billón de dólares en nuevas tecnologías y China quiere producir más energía renovable. Pero aún no es suficiente y necesitamos más medidas para hacer frente a los efectos negativos del cambio climático.
