Estados Unidos quiere más aceite de soja debido a las normas sobre combustibles limpios. Esto les dificultará el envío de aceite de soja a otros países.
La cantidad de aceite de soja que vende EEUU es la mayor en 2009/2010. Es de 1,5 millones de toneladas. Entre 2010 y 2021, es de 1,0 millones de toneladas. Pero en 2022, sólo venden 2 millones de toneladas de aceite de soja. También compran más aceite de soja del que venden. Así que ahora, por primera vez, obtienen aceite de soja de otros países.
En Estados Unidos están utilizando más aceite de soja para proyectos ecológicos. Esto significa que países como China comprarán menos aceite y más soja para fabricar aceite de soja en su propio país.
