La Ópera de Sydney tiene 51 años y es muy famosa. Ofrece muchos espectáculos cada año. Millones de personas la visitan cada año.
El edificio utiliza tecnología para ahorrar energía y mantener cómodos a los visitantes. Más de 1.400 sensores controlan el aire y la temperatura con frecuencia. El agua de mar del puerto refrigera el edificio. Se ahorra mucha electricidad.
La Ópera es muy ecológica. Tiene muchos premios por consumir menos energía y agua. Su diseño antiguo también ayuda. Los trabajadores la cuidan y la mantienen segura para el futuro. El objetivo es que la Ópera sea mejor para el planeta en 2030.
