La mayor explosión del universo – nivel 3

Los astrónomos han sido testigos de la mayor explosión cósmica jamás registrada, originada a 8.000 millones de años luz de distancia.
La explosión, denominada AT2021lwx, es más de 10 veces más brillante que cualquier supernova conocida y se calcula que es una bola de fuego 100 veces mayor que el sistema solar, con un brillo de unos 2 billones de veces el del sol. Los científicos creen que la explosión fue provocada por una inmensa nube de gas que fue succionada por un agujero negro supermasivo. Esta nube de gas, posiblemente miles de veces mayor que nuestro sol, podría proceder de la gran “rosquilla” polvorienta que suele rodear a los agujeros negros.
La explosión ha durado hasta ahora más de tres años, lo que la convierte en la más energética jamás registrada.
