Los astrónomos observan la mayor explosión jamás vista. Se llama AT2021lwx.
La explosión es más de 10 veces más brillante que cualquier explosión conocida de una estrella. Es una bola de fuego. Es 100 veces mayor que el Sol y 2 billones de veces más brillante que éste. La explosión se produce después de que una enorme nube de gas entre en un agujero negro muy grande. Puede que la nube de gas proceda de un gran “donut” polvoriento. Suele estar alrededor de los agujeros negros.
La explosión comenzó hace más de tres años. Es la explosión más fuerte que se ha visto nunca.
