Nueva línea de metro de Roma – nivel 2

La nueva línea de metro bajo los lugares famosos de Roma es difícil de construir. La línea pasará bajo el Coliseo y otros lugares históricos.
El ingeniero jefe Andrea Sciotti dice que es uno de los proyectos más difíciles del mundo, y que costará 3.000 millones de euros. La gran estación de Piazza Venezia estará lista en 2034. Habrá un muro de 85 metros.
El proyecto de la línea C del metro empezó hace casi 20 años. Hubo varios problemas que lo retrasaron. Había muchas ruinas antiguas bajo tierra, que los expertos tenían que explorar. El Ministerio de Cultura italiano colabora en el proyecto. Sciotti dice que las nuevas máquinas pueden excavar bajo los antiguos yacimientos sin dañarlos.
Cuando el proyecto esté listo, el Metro C irá del centro de la ciudad al Vaticano y hará que viajar por Roma sea más rápido y fácil.
