En Italia, Carlo Del Buono y José Cianni dirigen un exitoso negocio de cría de grillos.
Su empresa, Nutrinsect, produce harina de grillo, rica en proteínas y respetuosa con el medio ambiente. Al principio importaban grillos, pero ahora la granja de Cianni produce dos toneladas de harina de grillo al mes. Después de que Italia aprobara su uso en la alimentación, los productos de Nutrinsect se agotaron rápidamente.
Del Buono, pizzero, experimenta con la pizza de grillo, y añade una pequeña cantidad de polvo de grillo a la masa. A pesar de algunas dudas, Del Buono planea añadir pronto la pizza de grillos a su menú.
