Incendio en un albergue de Nueva Zelanda – nivel 2

Se produjo un incendio en un albergue de Wellington, Nueva Zelanda. Era un edificio de cuatro plantas llamado Loafers Lodge.
El incendio comenzó poco después de medianoche y los servicios de emergencia salvaron a más de 50 personas. Pero 11 personas seguían desaparecidas. El primer ministro dijo que al menos seis personas habían muerto, pero probablemente había más cadáveres. Aún no saben qué causó el incendio. Los bomberos llegaron rápidamente, pero el último piso ya estaba en llamas. El edificio tenía amianto en su interior y los funcionarios advirtieron a la gente que se pusiera una mascarilla y cerrara las ventanas.
En el albergue vivía mucha gente. Algunos estaban en paro o eran indigentes. También vivían enfermeras y personal del hospital.
