Se produce un gran incendio en un edificio llamado Loafers Lodge en Wellington, Nueva Zelanda.
El fuego se inicia a altas horas de la noche. Los bomberos salvan a muchas personas. Pero algunas personas mueren. Algunas personas siguen desaparecidas. Nadie sabe qué provoca el incendio. Es posible que alguien lo haga deliberadamente. El edificio tiene en su interior un material peligroso llamado amianto. Puede dañar a la gente. Tienen que llevar mascarillas y mantener las ventanas cerradas. Muchas de las personas que se alojan en Loafers Lodge no tienen casa. Algunos son enfermeros o trabajadores de hospital.
El gobierno dice que mucha gente en Nueva Zelanda no tiene un buen lugar donde vivir.
