M&S gana más dinero – nivel 2

La empresa británica Marks & Spencer (M&S) obtuvo un 58% más de beneficios este año. Esto fue mejor de lo que esperaba la empresa.
Su nuevo plan ayudó a vender más alimentos y ropa. Las ventas del año crecieron un 9,4%, hasta 13.100 millones de libras. Las ventas de alimentos aumentaron un 13% y las de ropa un 5,3%. El consejero delegado Stuart Machin dijo que es la primera vez desde 2019 que pagarán dinero a los accionistas. Las acciones de M&S subieron un 10%. El beneficio antes de impuestos fue de 716,4 millones de libras.
M&S se esforzó por hacer mejores productos y tiendas. Machin cree que el plan puede ayudar más en el futuro. Quieren vender aún más de aquí a 2027/28 y tienen esperanzas en el futuro.
