La policía acusó a cuatro hombres de llevarse un costoso retrete de oro de un palacio del sur de Inglaterra.
El retrete era de oro de 18 quilates y valía unos 5,9 millones de dólares. Formaba parte de una exposición de arte de un artista italiano en el palacio de Blenheim, que es un lugar famoso y muy antiguo. El robo se produjo a primera hora de la mañana de 2019, cuando los ladrones utilizaron dos vehículos para irrumpir en el palacio.
Nadie sabe dónde se encuentra ahora el baño llamado América. El palacio de Blenheim, lugar de nacimiento de Winston Churchill, se entristeció mucho cuando desapareció el retrete. Anteriormente, el retrete formó parte de una exposición en el Museo Guggenheim de Nueva York. Los cuatro hombres comparecerán ante el tribunal el 28 de noviembre.
