Un niño nació en un hospital de Tokio en 1958, pero el personal lo cambió por otro bebé. El hospital cometió un error, y creció con la familia equivocada.
De adulto, Egura Satoshi quiso encontrar a sus verdaderos padres. Pidió ayuda al gobierno de Tokio, pero no obtuvo respuestas, así que presentó una demanda. Esta semana, el tribunal ha declarado que el gobierno debe intentar encontrar a su verdadera familia. Satoshi tiene ahora 67 años, y empezó a tener dudas cuando tenía unos 30 años. Más tarde, una prueba de ADN demostró que no tenía parentesco con sus padres. Estuvo buscando a sus padres durante casi 20 años.
Egura dice que quiere conocer a sus verdaderos padres y a los hermanos o hermanas que pueda tener. Pero también dice que quiere a la familia que lo crió.
