En un principio se informó de la muerte de Lil Tay, rapera adolescente y estrella de Internet, en su Instagram.
Pero más tarde resultó que la noticia era falsa. Su cuenta fue atacada por piratas informáticos, lo que disgustó mucho a Lil. También aclaró que su verdadero nombre es Tay Tian, no Claire Hope. En el pasado, Lil Tay se hizo famosa por presumir de dinero y de cosas muy caras.
Su cuenta en las redes sociales estuvo tranquila durante un tiempo, pero luego aparecieron noticias sobre problemas con su familia y su representante.
