En el Reino Unido, tradicionalmente se escriben las leyes en vitela. La vitela está hecha de piel de animal. Algunas personas piensan que el papel es una opción más barata. Sin embargo, la vitela tiene sus partidarios.
La vitela puede durar 5000 años. Las leyes de los países son importantes, poderosas y cambian nuestras vidas. Algunas personas piensan que las leyes deberían escribirse en un soporte duradero.
En 1215, la gente escribió una ley muy importante. La llamaron la Carta Magna y hoy el Reino Unido aún la conserva. La Carta Magna es tan antigua que cuesta seis libras por cada siglo.
