Japón tiene una nueva isla. La isla tiene unos 100 metros de ancho. Se encuentra en la cadena de islas de Ogasawara.
Un volcán situado bajo el mar, cerca de la isla de Iwoto, forma la isla. El volcán entra en erupción en octubre. Comienzan las grandes erupciones. Éstas se producen cuando el magma se encuentra con el agua. El profesor Fukashi Maeno ve la isla. Está volando por encima del volcán. Durante las erupciones sale humo y ceniza.
En 2021 ocurrirán cosas similares. No sabemos qué ocurrirá con la isla. Puede crecer o desaparecer. A veces ocurre que estas islas desaparecen. El viento y el agua ayudan a este proceso. Japón gana y pierde islas a veces.
