Italia importa gas de Rusia. Antes de la invasión de Ucrania, Italia importaba el 40% de su gas de Rusia. Ahora, es menos del 10%.
El país ya se está preparando para el próximo invierno. Italia quiere ser independiente del gas procedente de Rusia. Una solución son los buques regasificadores. El primer barco llegó a la ciudad de Piombino la semana pasada. El barco transporta y almacena gas licuado. Cambia el gas licuado en gas de nuevo. Esto ocurre a bordo.
Algunas personas no están contentas con el barco. Dicen que tendrá un mal impacto en la vida local, la pesca y el turismo.
