Según Robert Moritz, experto en comercio mundial, la globalización no está acabando, sino cambiando.
Los expertos esperan que el comercio y el compromiso globales tradicionales disminuyan, lo que dará lugar a más actividades empresariales regionales o bilaterales. Moritz sugiere que existe una tendencia hacia una mayor regionalización. Regiones como Norteamérica, Europa y Asia se están integrando y uniendo. Moritz cree que habrá crecimiento económico, pero será el resultado de que el mundo del comercio se rompa en partes más pequeñas. Se trata de un cambio lógico hacia una globalización más regional y posiblemente bilateral, algo que no podemos impedir que ocurra.
