Dimite la presidenta de Hungría, Katalin Novak. Indultó a un hombre implicado en un caso de abusos sexuales en una residencia infantil.
Los vínculos de Novak con el primer ministro Viktor Orban enfurecieron a la población y hubo protestas. La oposición quería que Novak dimitiera. El primer ministro Viktor Orban intentó arreglar las cosas cambiando las normas, pero eso no detuvo el escándalo. Ahora, el jefe del partido gobernante y otro dirigente también han dimitido.
