Glaciares en Argentina – nivel 3

El Parque Nacional de los Glaciares de Argentina alberga más de 200 glaciares y, según el sitio web del parque, es la mayor extensión de hielo continental del mundo después de la Antártida.
En marzo de 2016, hasta 4.500 personas presenciaron el derrumbe de un túnel de hielo en el río de hielo de 29 kilómetros conocido como Gigante Blanco. El río es la mayor atracción turística del país y un gran número de lugareños y visitantes acuden para contemplar el espectáculo cuando el glaciar se deshiela aproximadamente cada cuatro años.
