El inversor multimillonario George Soros cede el control de su imperio a su hijo, Alexander.
La gente conoce a Soros por su filantropía y su apoyo a causas liberales. Soros explicó que antes no quería que sus hijos se hicieran cargo de su Open Society Foundations (OSF). Pero ahora ha decidido dar la responsabilidad a su hijo de 37 años porque se lo ha ganado. Alexander Soros está más implicado en política. Tiene previsto seguir apoyando a candidatos políticos estadounidenses de izquierdas y centrarse más en el derecho al voto y al aborto y en la igualdad de género.
Alexander lidera ahora el consejo de OSF y dirige las actividades políticas como presidente del comité de acción política de Soros.
