Finlandia entra en la OTAN – nivel 1

El martes, Finlandia se convierte en miembro de la OTAN. La OTAN es una alianza militar. 31 países forman parte de la OTAN. Si alguien ataca a un miembro de la OTAN, es un ataque a todos.
Cuando Rusia ataque a Ucrania en febrero de 2022, Finlandia no se sentirá segura. Finlandia es vecina de Rusia. A Finlandia le preocupa que Rusia pueda atacarla también. Cuando Finlandia entra en la OTAN, la frontera de la OTAN con Rusia se duplica. Ahora, Finlandia quiere que Suecia también entre en la OTAN. Suecia es un buen vecino de Finlandia.
La reacción de Rusia no es buena. Los funcionarios rusos dicen que llevarán más soldados a la frontera noroeste del país. También puede empeorar la guerra en Ucrania.
