La zona euro es un grupo de países de Europa. A principios de año, a la zona euro le va un poco mejor que en el pasado. Los expertos están contentos. Los precios dejan de subir tan rápido. La gente tiene más dinero. Las empresas empiezan a gastar.
La economía crece un poco en los tres primeros meses. Irlanda es el país que más crece. Esto se debe a que las grandes empresas trabajan en Irlanda. Es bueno para ellas debido a los impuestos. Alemania, Francia e Italia crecen poco.
Más tarde, las cosas empeoran. EEUU tiene nuevas normas para los negocios con otros países. Algunas grandes empresas automovilísticas de Europa, como Volkswagen, dicen que estas normas son malas. Las empresas europeas recibirán menos dinero y dejarán de gastar.
