Derek Chauvin agredido en prisión – nivel 3

Al parecer, Derek Chauvin, ex agente de policía de Minneapolis condenado por la muerte de George Floyd, ha sido agredido en una prisión de Arizona, según ha declarado el fiscal general de Minnesota.
Informes anteriores indicaban que Chauvin fue apuñalado y gravemente herido. Chauvin, que actualmente cumple una condena federal de 21 años por violar los derechos civiles de Floyd y una condena concurrente de 22 años y medio por asesinato en el Tribunal Estatal de Minnesota, se enfrentó a la agresión en la Institución Correccional Federal de Tucson. La Oficina Federal de Prisiones confirmó la agresión, señalando que los empleados tomaron medidas para salvar la vida y que el recluso herido fue hospitalizado.
La muerte de George Floyd en 2020 desencadenó protestas mundiales contra la brutalidad policial y el racismo, y Chauvin se arrodilló sobre el cuello de Floyd durante más de 9 minutos.
