La Palma es una ciudad de las Islas Canarias. Más de 4.000 personas deben abandonar La Palma. Hay un gran incendio forestal.
El fuego destruye 4.500 hectáreas de terreno y muchas viviendas. Otras islas cercanas también están en peligro. Las autoridades dicen que el fuego puede propagarse a Tenerife o Gran Canaria.
El sur de Europa sufre un calor extremo en estos momentos. La temperatura más alta jamás alcanzada es de 48,8. grados centígrados en Sicilia, Italia. Los expertos dicen que este verano puede ser aún más caluroso.
En EEUU también hay calor extremo y grandes incendios. Japón también tiene una peligrosa ola de calor, con temperaturas por encima de lo normal. El clima está cambiando. El tiempo es cada vez más extremo.
