Keir Starmer es el líder de Gran Bretaña. Tiene un nuevo plan. Quiere prohibir las redes sociales para los menores de 16 años. Esto significa que los jóvenes no podrán usar apps como TikTok e Instagram.
También quiere cambiar las normas sobre los videojuegos y las páginas web de vídeos. Ahora mismo, hay desconocidos que pueden hablar con los niños en estas apps, y eso no está bien. El líder dice que los niños necesitan jugar al aire libre y tener una infancia de verdad.
A mucha gente le preocupa que los niños pasen demasiado tiempo con el móvil. Les da pena. El Gobierno habla con muchas familias. La mayoría de los padres dicen que las redes sociales no son seguras. Muchos padres están contentos, pero algunos médicos creen que la prohibición quizá no funcione.
