Elon Musk tiene una empresa llamada Neuralink. Quieren probar algo nuevo con personas que no pueden mover el cuerpo.

Algunas personas no pueden moverse porque su espalda o sus músculos están enfermos. Estas personas pueden participar en una prueba. En la prueba, un robot colocará un implante en el cerebro de la persona. El implante puede ayudarles a controlar un ordenador sólo con su mente.

Al principio, Neuralink quiere probar esto en diez personas. Pero a las autoridades estadounidenses les preocupa si el implante es seguro para las personas. Así que no está claro cuántas personas participarán en el ensayo. Probablemente se necesiten más de diez años para probarlo todo. Elon Musk cree que el implante también puede ayudar a las personas muy gordas o con problemas mentales. Pero primero tienen que ver si es seguro para la gente.
