En un pequeño pueblo de la costa occidental de Bélgica, un hombre llamado Gunther Vanbleu utiliza un tipo especial de caballo para pescar gambas.
El caballo entra en el agua con una red, y cuando el caballo se mueve, las gambas saltan a la red. Esta forma de pescar es muy antigua y constituye una importante tradición.
Los pescadores y las mujeres de este pueblo viven cerca del mar, por lo que ven cómo el cambio climático está afectando al Mar del Norte. Ahora pescan menos gambas, pero encuentran nuevos tipos de peces procedentes del Océano Atlántico.
El calentamiento global hace que el mar esté más caliente, y esto está cambiando las temporadas de pesca para esta gente. Antes dejaban de pescar en diciembre, cuando veían las primeras nieves. Ahora no ven nieve, y su trabajo está cambiando.
