El tiempo está cambiando. Afectará a la economía.
La Niña hace que el Océano Pacífico, cerca del ecuador, sea más frío de lo normal. Pero se detuvo el otoño pasado después de varios años. En su lugar, tenemos El Niño. Esto significa que el agua estará más caliente de lo normal. Sin La Niña, la seca parte occidental de Estados Unidos ya tiene más lluvia y nieve. El próximo El Niño puede dar un poco más de lluvia al lugar donde los agricultores estadounidenses cultivan maíz. Pero en la India y el este de Australia puede hacer más calor y estar más seco. Puede que haya más vientos fuertes en el océano Pacífico, pero menos vientos fuertes en el océano Atlántico.
Cada El Niño es diferente. Los expertos deben vigilar de cerca la situación. Hay grandes cambios.
