Una cantante gana las elecciones en Nepal – nivel 2

Un nuevo partido, que solo tiene tres años, ha ganado las elecciones nacionales en Nepal. Su líder, Balendra Shah, era rapero y alcalde de Katmandú. Ahora es probable que se convierta en el próximo primer ministro.

Las elecciones se celebraron tras las grandes protestas de los jóvenes del año pasado. Mucha gente estaba indignada por la corrupción, los problemas laborales y un plan para prohibir las redes sociales. Las protestas se tornaron muy graves y murieron 77 personas. El Gobierno cayó y se convocaron nuevas elecciones.

Muchos votantes jóvenes apoyaron al nuevo partido porque querían un cambio y nuevos líderes. El partido promete luchar contra la corrupción y crear más empleo, pero algunos críticos dicen que estos planes pueden ser difíciles de llevar a cabo.
