El Año de las Búsquedas 2023 de Google mostró que personas de todo el mundo buscaban información sobre Hamás. Guerra en Israel y Gaza‘ fue la principal tendencia informativa en Estados Unidos y en todo el mundo. Otras búsquedas fueron ‘qué es Hamás‘, ‘qué está ocurriendo en Israel‘ y ‘por qué atacó Hamás‘.
La implosión del sumergible Titán y el terremoto entre Turquía y Siria fueron también tendencias noticiosas globales importantes. Otras de las principales búsquedas fueron acontecimientos e individuos importantes, por ejemplo, los problemas de salud de Damar Hamlin en un partido de la NFL, la muerte del actor Matthew Perry y personalidades de tendencia como Jeremy Renner y Andrew Tate. También estaban en la lista las películas ‘Barbie‘ y ‘Oppenheimer‘.
