Normativa de la UE sobre redes sociales – nivel 2

16-02-2026 07:00 Muchos países europeos están pensando en limitar el uso de las redes sociales por parte de los niños. El presidente de la UE apoya un límite de edad común.

En Francia, el Gobierno planea prohibirlas a los menores de 15 años, y el presidente apoya esta idea. Otros países quieren que los padres den su consentimiento o quieren limitar algunas aplicaciones. Los políticos afirman que las redes sociales pueden perjudicar la salud de los niños. Dicen que pueden causar problemas de sueño y falta de atención. Creen que las empresas ganan dinero con los usuarios jóvenes y no garantizan su seguridad. Las nuevas leyes pueden obligar a las empresas a comprobar la edad y cambiar sus sistemas.

Un experto dice que una prohibición no es la mejor solución. Afirma que los niños necesitan comunicarse con sus amigos. En su lugar, quiere normas más estrictas para las empresas.
