Corea del Sur tiene un examen universitario muy difícil, y la parte de inglés causa mucho estrés.
Este año, mucha gente está enfadada por ello. El funcionario responsable deja su puesto y pide disculpas por los problemas. Dice que las preguntas son demasiado difíciles y no están bien para los estudiantes.
Algunas preguntas utilizan ideas de la filosofía y de los videojuegos. Los alumnos deben comprender textos largos y poco claros. Incluso un profesor de lengua dice que ahora el examen es demasiado difícil. Explica que el examen utiliza el inglés para clasificar a los alumnos, no para ayudarles a aprender el idioma.
Este examen es muy importante en el país. Mucha gente cree que decide el futuro de un estudiante. El día del examen, la gente se queda callada, y el trabajo empieza más tarde. Los expertos dicen que el examen debería cambiar, porque los alumnos tienen miedo y no les ayuda a hablar mejor inglés.
