La lectura no es algo con lo que nacemos. Nuestro cerebro puede ver y hablar, pero debemos aprender a leer letras y palabras.
La lectura utiliza el cerebro para ver, oír, hablar y enfocar las cosas. La escritura empezó hace mucho tiempo con símbolos e imágenes, y más tarde se convirtió en letras y palabras que utilizamos hoy en día.
La lectura modifica el cerebro, pero las distintas lenguas utilizan el cerebro de formas diferentes. Algunas lenguas utilizan la memoria para las imágenes más que para las letras. Aprender nuevas lenguas cambia el cerebro según el estilo de escritura.
Leer puede hacer que la gente sienta lo que lee. Leer en pantallas puede hacer que la gente sólo mire rápidamente las palabras, lo que puede provocar errores. Los niños que pasan demasiado tiempo frente a una pantalla pueden no concentrarse bien. Los profesores y los padres deben ayudar a los niños a leer mucho para que piensen mejor.

- Do the test at Test Languages.
- Go to your level. Go to Level 1 if you know 1-1000 words. Go to Level 2 if you know 1000-2000 words. Go to Level 3 if you know 2000-3000 words.
Reading
- Read two news articles every day.
- Read the news articles from the day before and check if you remember all new words.
Listening
- Listen to the news from today and read the text at the same time.
- Listen to the news from today without reading the text.
Writing
- Answer the question under today’s news and write the answer in the comments.
