Un coche en las vías del tren – nivel 2

Los viajeros de las Montañas Azules sufrieron largos retrasos porque un coche cayó sobre las vías del tren cerca de Blaxland. Al oeste de Sydney, a primera hora de la mañana.

Los equipos de emergencia llegaron poco después y encontraron el coche sobre el techo. El conductor salió solo y sólo tenía heridas leves. Los bomberos y los equipos de rescate trabajaron con cuidado para retirar el coche. Trabajaban cerca de fuertes cables eléctricos sobre las vías, por lo que el trabajo requería un cuidado especial. Los equipos intentaron que la línea ferroviaria volviera a ser segura lo antes posible.

Los servicios ferroviarios entre Springwood y Penrith se interrumpieron, por lo que se pusieron en marcha autobuses para ayudar a la gente a viajar. Muchos pasajeros se sintieron estresados porque sus planes matutinos cambiaron de repente. El viaje duró más tiempo, y algunas personas esperaron sin información clara.
