La empresa afirma que ayuda a detener las enfermedades en los bebés. A la gente que le gusta la idea dice que ayuda a la gente a mantenerse sana. Pero a mucha gente no le gusta este plan. Les preocupa la seguridad. También les preocupa que los padres intenten elegir los rasgos de su bebé, como en la eugenesia.

Si los médicos cambian los genes de un bebé, estos cambios pasan a todos los futuros hijos. Esto hace que el riesgo sea muy grande. Ya existen otras formas de detener la enfermedad. La empresa debe demostrar que su investigación es segura.
