Una mujer de México gana Miss Mundo – nivel 2

Miss México, Fátima Bosch, ganó el título de Miss Universo en Tailandia.
El concurso estuvo lleno de discusiones y polémicas. Justo antes del espectáculo final, la Srta. Bosch y otras concursantes abandonaron un acto porque un funcionario la regañó públicamente y las amenazó a todas. Más tarde, dos jueces dimitieron, y uno dijo que los organizadores estaban amañando el concurso. El grupo de Miss Universo dijo que eso no era cierto. A pesar de los problemas, el espectáculo continuó, e incluso incluyó por primera vez a Miss Palestina. Bosch siguió compitiendo y ganó la corona.
El concurso de Miss Universo de este año tuvo muchos problemas, pero finalmente llegó a su fin.
