Josef Průša es un empresario e ingeniero checo que se convirtió en una de las personas más influyentes de Europa en la impresión 3D. De estudiante, experimentó con la tecnología musical y construyó su primera impresora 3D para fabricar piezas personalizadas.
Su diseño despertó rápidamente el interés mundial y, en 2012, fundó Prusa Research en Praga. La empresa emplea ahora a más de 1.000 personas y vende impresoras 3D a clientes de todos los continentes, incluidas grandes organizaciones como la NASA, Mercedes y el MIT.
