Cada vez más políticos muestran su forma física para parecer fuertes. El presidente polaco Karol Nawrocki publica a menudo vídeos de gimnasia en los que levanta pesas y boxea. A otros líderes, como Putin y Obama, también les gusta mostrar sus habilidades deportivas.

Algunos atletas, como Arnold Schwarzenegger o Vitali Klitschko, se convirtieron más tarde en políticos. El profesor Jacek Wasilewski afirma que la gente suele confiar en los líderes fuertes porque parecen poderosos y seguros. Explica que cuando la vida parece incierta, los votantes prefieren a los políticos que parecen luchadores. El boxeo de Nawrocki parece valiente y serio, mientras que el fútbol de Donald Tusk parece amistoso pero no poderoso.

Mostrar buena forma física puede ayudar a los políticos a conseguir más apoyo.
