La consultora Deloitte realizó un informe para el gobierno australiano utilizando IA. El informe costó 440.000 dólares, pero tenía grandes errores. El ordenador escribió nombres falsos y citas erróneas de jueces.

La IA a veces inventa información cuando no conoce la respuesta. Más tarde, un profesor descubrió estos errores y se los comunicó a los medios de comunicación. Deloitte cambió algunas partes del informe y devolvió parte del dinero al gobierno. La empresa y el departamento se sintieron avergonzados.

Muchas personas en las oficinas utilizan ahora la IA, pero no todos se lo dicen a su jefe. Esta historia demuestra que la gente debe comprobar cuidadosamente el trabajo con IA. La IA puede ayudar, pero también puede cometer grandes errores si la gente no vigila lo que hace.
