Donald Trump y Vladimir Putin tuvieron una gran reunión en Anchorage, Alaska. La gente esperaba grandes noticias sobre Ucrania, pero después de casi tres horas, Trump sólo dijo que habían hecho progresos, pero que no había ningún acuerdo.
No dio respuestas a las preguntas y se marchó. Esto confundió a los medios de comunicación.
Para Putin, reunirse con Trump en sí ya era una victoria. Desde 2022, no se reunía con líderes mundiales, pero ahora se sentó con el presidente estadounidense. EEUU también mostró su poder con un bombardero que sobrevoló la cumbre.
Más tarde, Trump dijo que no castigaría a Rusia directamente. En cambio, quería presionar a países como India y China que compran petróleo ruso. Por último, Trump aconsejó al presidente Zelensky que llegara a un acuerdo, dejando claro que cree que Rusia es el bando más fuerte.
