Europa necesita más TNT para fabricar proyectiles para defensa. Ahora mismo, sólo una empresa en Polonia fabrica TNT, y gran parte va a EEUU.

Sweden Ballistics (SWEBAL) quiere ayudar fabricando TNT en Suecia. Su objetivo es producir 4.500 toneladas al año de aquí a 2027. No es suficiente para toda Europa, pero ayudará. SWEBAL dice que Europa no debe depender de países lejanos para conseguir TNT. Si hay una guerra o un problema, el TNT podría no estar disponible. SWEBAL quiere utilizar herramientas y materiales de cerca, lo que ayuda al empleo y ahorra tiempo. La UE tiene un plan para dar dinero para defensa, pero las empresas dicen que aún no reciben suficiente ayuda. Además, muchos países utilizan herramientas y máquinas diferentes, lo que dificulta el trabajo conjunto. SWEBAL afirma que Europa necesita resolver este problema para mantenerse segura.
