Bosnia y Herzegovina recuerda la masacre de Srebrenica 30 años después. En 1995, murieron unos 8.000 hombres y niños musulmanes bosnios. Las fuerzas serbobosnias los mataron. Fue el peor crimen cometido en Europa después de la Segunda Guerra Mundial.
El monumento conmemorativo se encuentra en Potočari, donde un museo muestra la historia de la masacre. Muchas personas lo visitan cada año para recordar a las víctimas. Este año se enterrará a siete personas más. Las autoridades las encontraron e identificaron hace poco. Sus familias pueden ahora despedirse de ellas. Miles de personas acuden al acto para mostrar su respeto.
Algunos dirigentes de Bosnia y Serbia no aceptan que se tratara de un genocidio. También apoyan a las personas que cometieron los asesinatos. Muchos bosnios siguen queriendo la paz y esperan la ayuda de Europa para arreglar la situación.
