Los robots corren en una media maratón – nivel 3

En Pekín, 21 robots humanoides corrieron por primera vez en una media maratón junto a atletas humanos. El evento tuvo lugar el 19 de abril de 2025, en la media maratón de Yizhuang.
Los robots procedían de empresas como DroidVP y Noetix Robotics, y tenían diversas formas y tamaños. Algunos eran tan pequeños como 120 cm, mientras que otros medían hasta 1,8 metros. Un robot tenía aspecto humano, incluso sonreía y guiñaba un ojo. Los espectadores observaron con emoción cómo las máquinas corrían con apoyo humano.
El robot ganador, Tiangong Ultra, terminó en 2 horas y 40 minutos. Pertenecía a un centro propiedad en parte de empresas tecnológicas chinas. Los ingenieros dijeron que funcionó bien gracias a su diseño y a un algoritmo que copiaba cómo corren los humanos. Algunos robots tuvieron problemas durante la carrera, cayéndose o saliéndose de la pista.
Este evento fue más que un espectáculo. Los expertos chinos afirmaron que ponía a prueba las habilidades de los robots y mostraba los progresos de la robótica. Sin embargo, algunos expertos internacionales cuestionaron la utilidad de este tipo de carreras para las tareas del mundo real.
