Demolición del parque escocés de Clune – nivel 2

Clune Park es una zona de viviendas muy antigua de Port Glasgow, Escocia. Los trabajadores de los astilleros vivían aquí hace más de 100 años, pero mucha gente se marchó cuando se acabaron los trabajos.

Ahora, la mayoría de las viviendas están vacías y rotas. Algunos pisos cuestan menos de 10.000 libras. El lugar tiene un aspecto muy extraño, como la zona de Chernóbil, por lo que la gente lo llama el Chernóbil de Escocia. Unas pocas personas siguen viviendo allí. Un hombre, Marshal, dice que le gusta y quiere quedarse. El ayuntamiento quiere arreglar la zona, pero es difícil porque muchas casas siguen perteneciendo a propietarios privados.

El ayuntamiento planea derribar algunos edificios y construir 165 viviendas nuevas. Algunas personas se sienten tristes porque este lugar tiene una larga historia. Pero también esperan que las nuevas viviendas ayuden a la zona.
