El Día de Pokémon se celebra cada año el 27 de febrero para recordar los primeros juegos de Pokémon. Después de 29 años, los fans siguen adorando Pokémon.
En el Campeonato Internacional Pokémon de Londres y en una tienda Pokémon de Singapur, los fans hablaron de por qué les gusta. Muchos empezaron a jugar de niños y ahora comparten Pokémon con sus hijos.
El director general de Pokémon, Tsunekazu Ishihara, habló del futuro de Pokémon, de un pleito con otro juego y de lo que le ocurrió a Ash Ketchum. El director de Esports, Chris Brown, dijo que Pokémon sigue siendo popular porque une a la gente. Pokémon es una de las mayores marcas de Japón, con valiosas cartas coleccionables y muchos productos.
