Protesta en Hungría – nivel 2

En Budapest, muchas personas protestaron ante la sede de los medios de comunicación públicos húngaros, MTVA. Quieren más libertad para la prensa.

Péter Magyar, dirigente del partido TISZA, organizó la protesta. Dijo que los medios de comunicación públicos sólo muestran lo que quiere el gobierno y cuentan mentiras. El partido de Magyar es la principal oposición al primer ministro Viktor Orbán, y obtuvo casi el 30% de los votos en las recientes elecciones europeas.

Según Reporteros sin Fronteras, el gobierno controla el 80% de los medios de comunicación húngaros. Manifestantes como Balázs Tömpe y Ágnes Gera creen que los medios de comunicación son injustos y no muestran todas las partes. Magyar pidió al director de los medios de comunicación públicos que dimitiera y convocó otra protesta el 23 de octubre.
