Boulachab Nasser vive en la Casbah de Argel. Hace cosas a mano desde hace muchos años.

Nasser es marroquinero. Aprende este oficio de su familia. Cuatro generaciones de hombres se transmiten las habilidades de uno a otro. Pero ahora, a Nasser le preocupa que ya no haya mucha gente interesada en este trabajo. Le gusta mucho su trabajo. Cada vez es más difícil ganar dinero con él. Está triste porque los jóvenes, sobre todo los hombres de su familia, no quieren aprender a hacer esto.

La Casbah es un lugar muy antiguo e importante de Argel. El trabajo que hace Nasser muestra la cultura y la historia de su ciudad. Sin embargo, teme que si los jóvenes no aprenden estos oficios, dejarán de existir.
