Las Naciones Unidas afirman que más de tres millones de personas han abandonado sus hogares este año en países como Burkina Faso, Malí y Níger. Esto se debe a los combates y al cambio climático.
En Burkina Faso, los grupos armados mataron a más de 20.000 personas. Los habitantes de los refugios del noreste necesitan alimentos, agua y ayuda médica. Los grupos de ayuda afirman que los líderes mundiales ignoran este conflicto. Grupos armados vinculados a Al Qaeda y al ISIS mataron a muchas personas, y el gobierno no puede detener la violencia. Casi un millón de personas viven en condiciones peligrosas.
En África hay poca ayuda para estas crisis. Burkina Faso tiene un gobierno militar desde 2022. El líder quiere mejorar la seguridad y la economía, y volver al gobierno civil, pero la gente no se lo cree mucho.
