Los científicos saben mejor cómo se construían las pirámides de Egipto hace más de 4.000 años.
Un equipo de la Universidad de Carolina del Norte encuentra una antigua parte del río Nilo. Ahora está seco. Creemos que los egipcios trasladan grandes piedras por el río. Utilizaron las piedras para construir las pirámides. Pero los científicos no sabían dónde estaba el río, hasta ahora. Este río seco demuestra que la gente puede mover las piedras durante todo el año. Ahora entendemos mejor cómo se construye. También sabemos que Egipto tenía un aspecto diferente en el pasado.
Las pirámides están en grupos porque están cerca del río. En el futuro, aprenderemos más sobre el aspecto de Egipto en el pasado.
